East Bangalore is mainly served by ORR, which links to top areas like Whitefield, Marathahalli, SH-35, etc. The road network is good, offering smooth connectivity. Other key roads are Old Madras Road (NH 75) and Sarjapur Road. Big new road projects are coming up to improve travel.

The Satellite Town Ring Road (STRR) is being built to shift highway traffic away from the city. The Bengaluru Business Corridor (earlier called Peripheral Ring Road/PRR) is also being pushed forward. It will help reduce traffic on busy roads and link many parts of the city.

East Bangalore’s property market has grown fast in recent years. This growth is mainly because of the expanding IT sector and increasing education hubs. Many new residential and commercial projects in prime areas have attracted many buyers.

These localities have increased demand for homes from top builders like Prestige, Sobha, and Brigade. Property prices in East Bangalore range from Rs. 5500 to Rs. 18,000 per sq. ft., based on location and features. Apartments are the most preferred choice for both buying and renting.
