Roads

• Blue Line Metro Update: The ORR–Airport Metro Line (Blue Line) has reached 52.5% construction progress. This shows strong progress on the project.
• Big Road and Metro Plans Approved: The state government has moved forward with two major projects — an upgrade of the Outer Ring Road (ORR) into a 10-lane road with a Bus Priority Lane (BPL), and the approval of the Sarjapur–Hebbal Red Line. The Red Line Metro will connect East Bangalore’s tech hubs with the city centre and North Bangalore.
